Founded over 50 years ago Commercial Plastics has always been an industry leader in plastic design and processing. In 1969 the company moved from George St. in Chicago to its current site in Mundelein, Illinois. The early days of plastic injection molding focused on a proprietary line of house ware products and eventually grew to a custom offering of products for the world's top corporations that included Xerox, Honeywell, Hewlett-Packard, Mitsubishi, Siemens and Brunswick. This focus on engineered solutions and customer satisfaction through difficult problem solving has been the impetus of growth for Commercial Plastics.
Today the company boasts one of the world's finest plastics manufacturing facilities with over 105,000 square feet and has expanded to two additional divisions: OC Designs and Industrial Molded Products.
2004. Industrial Molded Products was established with a patented line of products for the Construction and Precast Industry.
2009. OC Designs was established with the development, design, and engineering of the patented Crystal Chiavari for the retail, event, and hospitality industries.
All products by OC Designs are manufactured in the United States at our facility in Mundelein, Illinois.

Warranty: All products manufactured by OC Designs are warranted to the original purchaser for one full year from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. During this period OC Designs will repair or replace, at our discretion, the defective product. This warranty does not apply to improperly installed, handled, abused, damaged, nor to any unit which has been repaired or altered by unauthorized agencies. Under no circumstances will the buyer be entitled to consequential or incidental damages. OC Designs reserves the right, before having any obligation under this limited warranty, to inspect the damaged OC Designs product, and all costs of shipping the OC Designs product to OC Designs for inspection shall be borne solely by the purchaser. In order to recover under this limited warranty, Purchaser must make claim to OC Designs within 60 days of occurrence, and must present acceptable proof of original ownership (such as original receipt, warranty card registration, on-line registration, or other documentation OC Designs deems acceptable) for the product.
